BYU won the Las Vegas Bowl!

It was a very fun game to watch even though the wind was very very cold. It actually played to our advantage with some punts. Anyway, BYU played overall pretty well and we came away victorious.

Here’s a neat slideshow about the game:

Yo

So for all the student readers, here’s a great little article about how BYU can help you get through them and live.

I remember last year studying over 30 hours for the Econ 110 final, I could have used this.

Good luck and remember it’s not the end of the world.

Go cougs!

Well, for the last 5 years it seems we’ve been stuck in the vegas bowl. To be honest, I’m kind of bored with the thought of the Las Vegas bowl. But hey! At least BYU’s going to a bowl so I shouldn’t complain at all. After all, my ancestors, Oscar Hamblin, was the first white man to visit Las Vegas on a mission to the local indians.

Enough rambling, here’s a blog post by a professional giving you the DL about the matchup

http://www.heraldextra.com/sports/college/byu/football/2009/week-13/article_3c65191c-ff79-5a5e-81b9-cc154a2eadfd.html

I got this from Darnell Dickson from Provo’s Daily Herald.

Sorry about not posting things for a while!  Busy. ANDDDD I have finals and many presentations/projects/papers in the next week. So basically don’t expect much for at least 2 more weeks here. I’m still getting used to this whole blog thing.

News? BYU is going to the Las Vegas Bowl, Max Hall doesn’t like the U, Basketball season is kicking off, and It’s almost Christmas.

OH! and feel free to comment or contact me with suggestions of posting you want to see!

If you haven’t seen this already and you’re a sports fan, you need to.  Out of control, coaches did nothing, refs did nothing.  Good on BYU for not retaliating in a physical way,  just shows the integrity they are taught and apply.

Well, things didn’t work out for BYU at the game. But hey, ESPN came by….that is neat.

Here is a article about what went down:

It’s that time of year again at Brigham Young University.

Crisp autumn air, leaves changing, and the football season is well under way. It’s offically jacket weather.

But that also means midterms for us students!!!! aaaahhhhh.

Here’s the official website that tells you al that’s going on this week. Show a little school spirit and get involved. Go COUGS!

The library host free classic movies on the first floor every month. This month? Very appropriate for all hallow’s eve….THE THING!!!!!

These are so fun to watch. I went to one last year, It was about giant green men attacking from mars (how did we evolve to tiny green men?) .  Anyway, It was hilarious, entertaining, educational, and easy on the wallet!
